Accessibility policy

How we make this website and our documents usable for everyone, and how to tell us if something isn't.

Last updated 26 October 2026

The standard we work to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. In practice that means text that resizes without breaking the layout, sufficient colour contrast, pages that can be used with a keyboard alone, meaningful headings and link text, and alternative text on images that carry information.

What should work well

  • Zooming the page to 200% without losing content or needing to scroll sideways.
  • Moving through the site, its menus and the enquiry form using only a keyboard.
  • Using a screen reader to read page content, headings and form labels.
  • Reading the site on a phone, with layouts that reflow rather than overflow.
  • Visible focus outlines on links, buttons and form fields.

Known limitations

  • Some sections fade or move into view as you scroll. They are decorative and never hide content, but the reveal animations do not yet switch off automatically if you have reduced motion turned on in your device settings. We are working on that.
  • Client reviews on the homepage are reproduced as written by the reviewer, and the documents we link to on the Party Wall information page are published by other organisations, so we cannot fully control how they are prepared.
  • Illustrative photographs of buildings carry short alternative text describing the subject. If you need a fuller description of anything, ask us and we will provide one.

Documents in another format

Notices, Schedules of Condition and Awards can be supplied in large print, as a tagged or plain-text file, or read out to you over the phone — there is no charge. Ask the surveyor handling your matter, or email admin@partywallservices.com, and tell us which format suits you best.

Reporting a problem

If something on this site is hard to use, please tell us the page you were on, what happened, and — if you know — the browser or assistive technology you were using. Email admin@partywallservices.com or call 0203 6270 110. We will acknowledge your message within three working days and tell you what we can fix and when.

How we test

We check the site with keyboard-only navigation, browser zoom, automated accessibility tooling and a screen reader, concentrating on the pages people use most: the homepage, the services and process pages, the price guide and the enquiry form. We retest whenever a page is rebuilt.

This page is written in plain English for clarity. It sets out our own policy and procedures and is not legal advice.
